Intersect by Lexus’ public gallery space provides an opportunity for guests to explore, sit, converse, and imagine.
By re-formulating the seating into new configurations, guests are able experience the space in their own unique way.
We collaborated with furniture designer Tim Miller to re-imagine his original plywood bench and create a sculptural seating installation to showcase Lexus’ commitment to brave design.
Comprised of thirty lacquered frames, each bench features inlaid Lexus leather and is accented with brushed brass from the second floor lounge.
Easily arranged in a variety of positions; the Coil Bench seamlessly transitions from audience seating to casual lounge furniture.
All the while, serving as a functional and ever-evolving installation.
